Daniel grew up in Hong Kong and was a pioneer in the exhibitions business in Asia in the early 1980’s, founding the Hong Kong Gem and Jewelry Show in 1982.
He has been an investment banker and has listed numerous public companies (Nasdaq, AIM, OTC) including a real estate company which obtained the first Thai Property Fund in 1998.
In 1998, he also bought an 18kg rough sapphire crystal, then led the artistic carving production and named it ‘The Millennium Sapphire’. That same sapphire is the world’s largest.
In 2005 he founded Tinaga Resorts Corp. in the Philippines which is the largest land owner on the island.
Daniel is a permanent resident of Hong Kong and graduated from Hong Kong International School in 1979 and studied Chemistry and Biology at Houston Baptist University from 1979 to 1981.
Daniel is a very active supporter of a number of charities and orphanages in Thailand and directly supporting those most vulnerable, including single-mothers with young children in the Philippines.

Thomas 'Tim' Orbos
Thomas “Tim” Muñoz Orbos is a well known Filipino businessman, government administrator and politician who was General Manager of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and Undersecretary for Road Transport and Infrastructure of the Department of Transportation under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.
He also served as MMDA’s acting chairman following the resignation of Emerson Carlos on August 19, 2016. Orbos previously held the position of MMDA Assistant General Manager for Planning under then President Benigno Aquino III.
Orbos hails from the province of Pangasinan and is the brother of former Executive Secretary and Congressman Oscar Orbos, as well as popular priest and Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist Fr. Jerry Orbos. He has also previously worked as Undersecretary for the Office of the President and owned several businesses in the past including the Pangasinan Presidents (later renamed Pangasinan Waves) franchise team in the now-defunct Metropolitan Basketball Association. He is also an alumnus from Massachusetts Institute Of Technology, Sloan School of Management.
Anthony Demin Sarmiento
Architect, Tinaga Island Resort
Anthony Demin Sarmiento is a registered and licensed architect in the Philippines. He is also a licensed Environmental Planner and a registered Master Plumber. Sarmiento went to the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School, where he took a Master of Science Degree in Architecture, Planning major. His passion is working with sustainable bamboo structures.
Sarmiento brings a wealth of experience and skill to Tinaga resorts. He designed world-class masterplans while working at Palafox Associates as an Associate Architect. Some of these projects include the San Beda Alabang Campus and for a resort, the New Puerto Azul Resort Masterplan.
Besides running an architectural firm, Sarmiento teaches the subject at the National University College of Architecture. Also, he paints and participates in church activities during his off time.
From Master Planning and Urban Design to Visual Presentation and Visual Arts, Sarmiento is a master in his field. His creativity and love for beautiful and sustainable plans are visible throughout his portfolios.

Angeline is the Community Manager at Tinaga Resorts. She is an experienced Crypto Writer and Digital Marketing expert based out of Nairobi.
